Jazz Enthusiasts,

We would like to welcome you to the Annual Highland/ASU Jazz Festival. It promises to be a highly educational and rewarding experience. This year’s featured guest artists are:

These musicians will also be joined by some of our clinicians in an all-star combo performance and the Arizona State University Concert Jazz Band led by Michael Kocour. In addition, the High School Jazz Band that receives the Judges’ Most Outstanding Award from Thursday through Saturday’s clinic performances, will open Saturday’s concert!

MISSION STATEMENT

The Highland/ASU Jazz Festival is dedicated to educate and inspire students, educators, and audiences; and to enhance the appreciation and importance of jazz education.

This festival will provide:

• Unbiased clinics, ratings and/or rankings by professional clinicians from around the country.
• An organized performing and clinic environment.
• Performances will be professionally audio & video recorded by Mouse Recording.
• High quality performances from top musicians in the Jazz Industry.
• 20+ Master Classes from area jazz educators for students and teachers.
